Paroxysm is a free text-based multiplayer RPG (MUD) in early alpha. Its AI Champions are LLM-powered NPCs that behave like players and compete in events, so there's something to do even when the server is quiet. The setting: WWII ended when a portal to Hell opened, and the Cortex, an authoritarian world government, rules what's left. Play a supernatural (vampire, werewolf, demonborn and more) or a Cortex enforcer. There are factions, territory and PvP.
